How cookies work
The landing page does not contact advertising services before consent. Only the platform whose advertising brought you here can load after you allow it. Without a recognised advertising source, no SDK loads. These policy pages never load advertising SDKs.
What the page stores
The page uses localStorage for preferences. Unlike cookies, these entries are not automatically attached to requests. The landing page does not send them to a server or assign you a visitor ID.

Expiry invalidates a choice; it does not automatically delete the entry. You can remove entries in your browser’s site-data settings. The page also briefly tests whether storage works. If consent cannot be saved reliably, measurement stays off. The Steam link still works.
Advertising cookies
Advertising cookies require consent. These names identify the cookie families handled by the integrations and their removal logic, not cookies currently installed on your device.

The platform sets cookie expiry and may renew a cookie. Browser restrictions can shorten storage. The 180-day validity of your choice is not a cookie lifetime or a provider’s server retention period. Each stored cookie’s domain and expiry can be inspected in your browser.
Scripts can send technical data as they load. After consent, the page reports one visit per page load: PageView for Meta, Pageview for TikTok or a page-load conversion for Google Ads. A click on the Steam link sends AddToWishlist for Meta or TikTok, or a conversion for Google Ads, depending on the source. Neither confirms a wishlist addition or purchase.
Identifiers in the address
The page removes fbclid, ttclid, gclid, gbraid and wbraid before an advertising script can load. The originating platform’s identifier may be restored after consent and removed again on withdrawal. Cleaning the address does not erase the original hosting request or browser history. The landing page does not put these identifiers into the Steam link or send them to another advertising platform.
Change your choice
Use Cookie settings or the controls below. Turn off one platform, or use Withdraw consent to turn off all of them. Withdrawal stops new measurement calls and removes accessible advertising cookies. This page cannot delete data already sent, HttpOnly cookies or cookies on other providers’ domains. Where necessary, a page with a loaded SDK reloads after the refusal is saved.
An active Global Privacy Control signal keeps measurement off. Declining or withdrawing does not prevent visiting Steam or remove campaign labels from the link.
